    2. For Managers
    For Managers & Senior Leaders

A structured mirror, not a personality test.

If you've already done Hogan, Saville, Myers-Briggs or DiSC and felt the output didn't land, this is the alternative. Built specifically for senior leaders who want to see themselves more clearly, not be told what kind of leader they are. Used WITH a coach, not on you by HR.

    What is a VMP?

Built for the leader, not for HR.

Most psychometric instruments handed out at executive level are designed for selection or promotion decisions, used ON you by someone else. The PMP is designed differently. It's used WITH you, by a coach, with the deliberate goal of generating useful conversations rather than producing a verdict.

    Senior managers

Department heads, regional managers, function leads. The output addresses how you operate under load, where your strengths cast a shadow, and what coaching themes are worth raising in your next 1:1.

    CEOs & executive leaders

The instrument's Self-Discrepancy layer (actual self vs ideal self) consistently surfaces the most useful coaching content for leaders at this level, the gap between how you actually operate and how you'd ideally operate.

    Founders & sole operators

The meta-cognitive layer is the one that matters most here. Noticing your own thought patterns in real time is the single best predictor of how fast you'll learn from this market.

    Anyone just promoted

The two highest-leverage moments for a leader to take this: just after a promotion, or in the 6-12 months before stepping up. The actual-vs-ideal gap data anchors the development conversation that should be happening anyway.

Why this is different from Hogan, Saville, MBTI, DiSC.

Three real differences, in plain language:

    1. No label. No "type."

You don't walk away with "you're an ENTJ" or "you're a Red." Instead you get a polarity profile, each dimension is shown as a position on a continuum, with both poles framed as legitimate strengths. You're not categorised; you're described.

    2. The "ideal you" is measured too.

For each dimension, you rate yourself twice, once for how you actually operate, once for how you'd ideally operate. The GAP between those is the most useful coaching content. No other instrument does this explicitly.

    3. Designed to resist gaming.

Most personality tests can be answered to produce whatever picture you want. The PMP uses five layers of fake-resistance, forced-choice ipsative items, lie-scale items, consistency checks, behavioural memory anchors, plus the Self-Discrepancy layer where the GAP is the data so even an aspirational responder produces meaningful output.

    What's in the output.

The PMP produces a "Conversation Map", a single document designed to be brought to a coaching conversation, not read alone.

    • Your operating signature, the three polarities you sit most firmly within
    • The widest gap between how you actually operate and how you'd ideally operate
    • One strength in its shadow, reframing your weakest emphasis as a flexibility
    • The full 13-dimension polarity profile
    • Three specific opening questions for the coach

Two pages. No labels. No clinical diagnosis. No judgement. Just patterns and questions, structured to make a coaching hour more useful than it would be without it.
