The CVMP was built by the practitioner who uses it. The items, the scoring framework, and the written report all come from the same place: a sustained, hands-on read of how cricketers actually think under pressure. The Profile is the productised, self-serve version. Same architecture. Shorter form. Designed so the report you receive is genuinely useful, not a horoscope.

Pick the level you actually need.

Why the Profile is not a quiz.

What this is not.

This is not a BuzzFeed-style personality quiz repackaged for sport. It is not a generic 16-type model translated into cricket vocabulary. It is not an algorithm that generates a profile from a database of stock phrases.

The CVMP architecture, the items themselves, and the written report were all built by Rob, a performance consultant who has spent fifteen years reading cricketers and footballers at elite level. The instrument is honest about its limits. It is not an academically validated psychometric in the formal sense, and it does not claim to be.

How the report is generated. The CVMP scoring layer is rule-based and deterministic, same answers produce the same scores every time. The written narrative is then drafted using a large language model (Anthropic's Claude) running a prompt designed by Rob, and reviewed by Rob during the early phase of the product. The instrument is the practitioner's. The model is the engine that lets the report be delivered consistently and within minutes rather than days. Full disclosure is in the privacy policy.

What players have said.

The best thing I have done for my cricket. It put words around stuff I had half-noticed about myself for years.
Senior professional cricketer · England
The bits I scored amber on were the bits I knew were true. Made it harder to ignore.

Testimonials anonymised at the request of the players. Australian-domestic feedback will be added as the Profile rolls out locally.

What the Profile does not do.

The Profile is the introductory level of the CVMP. It surfaces the eight dimension scores in clear, plain language and gives you something to sit with. It is not a substitute for the full practitioner-led CVMP, which goes deeper across three more layers:

The credibility layer. The full CVMP includes embedded credibility checks and cross-section consistency analysis. The Profile does not.

The pattern layer. The full CVMP detects eight cross-dimension interaction patterns. The Profile reads dimension by dimension only.

The debrief. The full CVMP includes a 45 to 60 minute structured debrief. The Profile is a written read; the bridge tier above includes a 30-minute video conversation.

If you want the full read, the path is: take the Profile, then either book the debrief tier or get in touch directly about the full CVMP. The Profile purchase credits toward the full CVMP if you upgrade within sixty days.
